has any one heard of quadra fire stoves and how good are they? im getting a 3100 millenium and was just a curious if anyone had one or have any experience with them

Do a search for "Quadrafire". One word. You will find lots of Quadrafire owners here.

Quadrafire? Never heard of 'em . . . must be a fly by night operation. ;) :)

Actually, a pretty large manufacturer of woodstoves and pelletstoves . . . as BB mentioned you can do a search for them. Another option is to check out the hearth.com stove review forum . . . you can find this link at the home page of hearth.com . . . or you can do the easy, lazy FFJake thing and just post a thread with the topic being Quadrafire 3100 Millenium and then every Q3100 M owner will no doubt check out the post and answer any questions you might have about this stove.

Hello fella, yeah, the search box can be your friend here. I've sold at least 1500 quads over 14 years on Long Island. They are a great product and work as advertised. You got yourself a nice stove

Hows the 3100 m working for you?Im still trying to learn our stove. Any advise would be appreciated...Thanks in advance

You might want to ask the OP in a PM. He/she hasn't logged in since late October. As to how to burn in your stove all of the advice on the forum for burning in a steel non-cat stove pretty much applies to burning in a Quad. Even the bad advice.
