So I am looking for confirmation what I want to do is okay and to code, my question mostly lies on the inside configuration and if using a 90 and a 45 at the exit will be acceptable for draft and my set up.
You will see in my image of the inside, I have a mock up going up to a 90, and then it will head to the through the wall kit at an angle where I believe a 45 at the wall exit will be needed to do it this way. This being a corner, I could hit the green square (my exit) by rotating the 90 toward it and taking a 45 into the through wall pipe it looks like in my testing.
Is this okay? Should I look at something different? If this will be safe I would like to do it this way. On the outside, I will be going straight up parallel to my chase.
Now, some may ask why not just use the fire place.
The roof is a steep pitch, meaning through the roof and 18’ of pipe free standing makes no sense, so this is where I am in my planning.
I could rotate after the 90 at the first bend and go straight to the wall BUT that gets me closer to rafter combustibles and makes the cleaning from the top a little more difficult (I think).
Looking at both inside and outside, the run of that wall between the corner and the rock (where the outdoor wood chase starts) is right at 4’ - meaning not a huge difference but I am thinking being as close to the chase as possible will be best for servicing, wind protection, and possibly draft?
I am pretty much ready to order all the pipe, and I have went up and down on how to do it and have someone coming to cut the wall, etc but I want to get this right so any help keeping this stove where it is and making sure stove pipe is safe will be greatly appreciated.
The side of the house where the chimney is, no one ever sees it except my neighbor so that does not come into play as far as looks.
Edit: I guess I could also do 2 x 45s, where my first 45 is where the 90 is now, runs up at an angle to get even with the exit, then go straight out?

- It is a prefab that needs replacing.
- In modern times, the TV is the centerpiece of a room and I really like the TV where it is as I am into media and sound, furniture, etc all just works better in a square room as opposed to the corner where I used to have it mounted. It is a small space.
- I got this Hearthstone Manchester 8361 that was used for about 3 years for $1K - saving over a new insert and fitting my preference of lay out.
