Even Jotul has a hard time looking up exact serial numbers.
If you need an exact year, check for the orginal cast iron tags on the castings. Normally easy ones to find are the door under the bottom of the window in that area, or the ash door inside. Use a wire brush.
You can post a few photos and I can give you a year range depending on what it looks like.
