Help! Insert used as a zero clearance, possible?

I need help, I am building a new house and installing a fireplace. I found a nice insert that I really like, looks and price wise. I want a closed compustion system with the large arch door. House is 1500 sq ft. Is there any simple way to install/make a insert usable for my situation. I did some looking at the kozy heat fireplaces and some others that are zc but with the cost @ $4000 I dont think I could do that. Would I have to have a firebox and chase built, which I dont know how to do....

you will need to buy and install a cheap zero clearance box and chimney, install the inset (if its approved for zc fireboxes) and reline the chimney to get it up to code. Still a 4k project.
Or you can spend the 4k on a zc epa fireplace from the get go, and have a much easier installation.

do it the way you want it the first time around, it will save you a lot of aggrivation and wasted money.

thanks for the info, the manual says in bold not to install it into a zc firebox.

man your in a pickle. Can you return the insert or at least trade it for one that is?
Also, most fireplaces run on a 8" flue, inserts typically run on a 6" flue. Even if the chimney is up to snuff as far as code goes, the insert wont preform well on a 8" flue.
