Help ! Jotul F 500 Eco, strange piece on the glass 🤔

hi, I found this piece in the glass of my F 500 eco stove. It was inside, attached to the glass, but when i opened it fell off. I tried to crack it and it's broken. It is very solid but it is not cast iron the magnet does not take it. what the hell is it?

No they use a lot of it when the stove parts are assembled it. Gets squeezed out from all the gaps. Then after a few fires the extra breaks off and falls out.
