Finding a lot of these in my yard. What kind of tree sapling is it?

My yard has black cherry, a variety of oak, eab infected ash, hickory, locust, box elder, spruce, and hackberry.

After some google'ing, it looks like it could be ash or hickory.

Are they doomed if eab are in my area? All the ash trees in the area are decimated.
