Can anyone tell me anything about this stove? It's made by hearthstone owner doesn't know model. All I can make out is that it's 35k btu. He's selling it for 150. Is this a good price? I want a stove for my basement playroom which is about 600sf I realize 35k btu is a bit hot for that space, but is it too hot?

There should be a large metal tag secured to the chassis with a thin cable inside the control chamber. Without the model and serial it will be difficult to get replacement parts.

Looks like an older Sterling Gas Stove.
Could be either a B-Vent or a Direct Vent model.
We'd need to see the venting attachment collar to determine which.
It could also burn either LP or NG, & unless it's marked on the gas valve,
the burner orifice would have to be inspected.
Manuals are still available for older Hearthstone stove models.
