I am unable to find the manual for our wood stove.

The bottom and the top of the firebox are lined with refractory brick.

Should the sides and the back of the firebox contain refractory brick ?

The reason for me asking is that every new type of stove I see, contains refractory brick in the firebox ( top, bottom, back and sides ). At the time of purchase ( 2nd hand ) the stove only contained brick at top and bottom.

Thank you.

Ozzy
