Welcome. Napoleon makes fine stoves. The models your wife likes were amongst the first cast iron jackets steel stoves.

In general terms you will be heating around 400 sq ft. Heat and hot air does not like to travel downward so this is just the LR and rec room. In Quad this would be in the Yosemite size range, not the Isle Royale. I would recommend you look at about 1.5-2.0 cu ft stoves. Some others would be the Hampton H200 or 300, the Hearthstone Shelburne, Jotul Castine F400.

OK Thanks for the responses... We're still looking at the F400 Castine. Anybody who's running this stove having issues with dirty glass??? As if the Air Wash isn't working so well??
Hey any Castine owners out there that can hook me up with a measurement from front of stove (top) to the front of flue outlet hole (Top Vent set-up) Or just lemme know the depth of stove top. I can add 6" for flue, unless flue sits back from stove top, but spec sheets don't seem to indicate that... looks like it's right there!) Trying to figure how far into my fireplace firebox the stove will need to be to get it lined up to my liner connection...
