Hello,
I’m waffling between replacing a decorative gas fireplace with a wood stove or gas stove. The wood stoves I’m looking at put out around 80,000 btu whereas the most I can find in a gas variety is 44,000 btu. Not that the manufacturers btu ratings are worth much, but it seems valid for comparing within brands. Can anyone point me in the direction of a gas stove with more heat output?

thanks,
Adam

44K INPUT is about as big as the gas units get.
Most are below 40K...
You want to look at efficiency to determine how
many BTUs you'll get in OUTPUT...
