I’ve had mine for over 5 years and never had to take it apart. I can get the brush through everything. 6 ft rise outside, 45 inside. All through the outside tee. I clean it at least every ton. But everybody’s setup is different.
I used both the black and red sealant. I prefer the black because it didn’t stink. Can’t stand the smell of silicone.

Mine has to be taken apart for 2 reasons. One my vertical vent is 18 feet high from the 3-4 cleanout tee (outside) to the top pf the vent cap and two, because I roast a corn / pellet mix, I need to clean the liner well, the nitric acid vapor will eat t up eventually. Kind of imperative for the life the expensive venting that it's cleaned will in the off season with a pressure washer.
Used the same venting for about 20 tears now with no issue but the cleanout Tee which I had to replace last year because the bottom finally rotted out. Got a new one at Home Depot and it was actually less than Venting Pipe . com

Appliance adapter siliconed to tailpipe, a couple 1ft pieces siliconed together and the T and 1ft piece taped, and that taped to appliance adapter 90 degree top is taped...still comes apart for cleaning
Was a 'fat finger' reply. Keep in mind (thought I don't discuss it on here, I'm on chemo for secondary liver cancer and the chemo severely limits my dexterity, IOW, I push the wrong key sometimes. It's personal hell for me but I keeps me on this side of the dirt...for now.I have to say it

Not quite ready for the final act quite yet.
What I did long ago is I took a cutoff wheel in my angle grinder and carefully removed the outer galvanized pipe and exposed the inner stainless pipe back to the rolled in crimp. removed the insulation and fit just the stainless inner liner to the combustion air outlet, applied some stinky RTV to the inner surface and used a heavy duty Witek (worm clamp to secure it. I never take that section off. Stays on the stove all the time because it's a straight shot (single piece) through the wall thimble to the cleanout tee outside and it is about 1/4 bubble vertical from level. The stove isn't close to any combustible material anyway and it don't get that hot. I check my venting with an IR non contact thermometer often.

Been dealing with it for 3 years now. I look like a field dressed deer actually. That was 3 years ago and all was good for a while but it it's back and I'm dealing with it.
I'm missing quite a few parts, most of them were unneeded anyway.. Some were but I deal with what is. I don't dwell on what isn't
I sure am glad I have 'Cadillac' healthcare. Big plus. Anything cancer related is super expensive. Like my Cyber Knife. 5 treatments were 118 grand (US).
Had the cyber knife done but still a bit left so it's chemical time for me. I hate it but keeps me above the dirt.
Whoever said retirement is wonderful....lied.
Every day when I wake up, I think the lord for another day and every night when I go to bed I say a silent prayer and ask him for another day which he has granted so far.
There is no beating it. Everyone has cancer in them, in some people it gets triggered, in some not, but we all have it inside. Best I can hope for is remission but it will always be there and most likely will be my ultimate demise.
Interesting fact I found out a few days ago from a fellow farmer. He said to me, "Have you ever seen a pig (porkbelly) die from old age"" I said no. He said 'the reason a porkbelly never dies from old age is they are loaded with cancer'. Something I did not know. He went on to say that is why Jewish people don't eat pork. Makes sense to me but then I don't eat pork anyway as a rule. Maybe real crisp bacon once in a while but has to be almost burnt. Little shaky tpday but it will pass. So excuse the fat fingers. They don't always do what I want them to do....

Why I use a laptop. I have this on my phone as well but never use it. You'd never be able to read what I post. Just use it for clls and flying the drones.

Would be if I had my health.. I don't. Eventually it will get me, I know that. I need to get a couple more hunts in first. Looking at a New Mexico Bull elk hunt right now. I'll do landholder tags so no lottery. Will be expensive, most likely in the 10 to 20 range, but I have it and I'm not kicking off and letting the family squabble over it. They didn't earn it, I did so I'll spend it doing what I like to do. Hell, I could buy a new Corvette, go on this hunt and still have a wad left. Told the wife I might buy a new Vette, the high performance one. 189 mph intrigues me.
I cannot afford a Bugatti Veyron but I like them too.

How do you seal the vent pipe on the outside piece of the wall thimble when it is galvanized? Some of these high temp sealants arent intended for unfinished galvanize
Tape it with aluminum foil tape

Easy on and easy off... To a point. I don't do anything with the exterior venting but I will use the black stuff this year when it comes apart for cleaning. Only place I worry about leaks (smoke and smell) is inside the house. It arrived 2 days ago btw. Being lazy about taking it apart and pressure washing it inside.

From what I understand, if it gets hot enough for the silicone to affect the galvanized, I’ve got bigger problems on my hands. I sealed mine outside at the thimble and it still looks like new. Don’t want rain or bugs getting in there.
