I have seen in some you tube video's that some people use a plate the is attached to the inside doorway of a hitzer stove model 983....can someone give me a location where I can purchase one any help aappreciated

Not a whole lot of info on coal stoves in this forum (and I think the 983 is a coal burner). I'd suggest checking out http://nepacrossroads.com/ . Lots of coal burners there.
