My second Holz is coming along well. Three things I learned from Holz 1 and from this forum:

1. By making it larger (bigger diameter), it's easier to keep the logs along the "rim" from tilting downwards.

2. The vertical logs on the inside are all leaning towards the middle.

3. Each successive layer is about an inch closer to the center.

thats a nice looking stack. i live in the city for now and was thinking of putting one in my front yard so the neighbours can get good and confused.
