Hello guys
A friend of mine is intersted in making his own fire logs using saw dust or wood chips.
We have the gear to press the log in place, and are looking for a recipe maybe using fryer fat or wax?
Any help would be appericated.
Thanks. Dave

Ummmmm, I beleive that most pressed logs (e.g. bio-bricks) are just compressed sawdust. Sawdust and an awful lot of pressure.

Cheers

Kenny

fire logs do have wax in some brands, this is how they make them easy to light and it makes the manufacturing so much easier than very high pressure steam like wood pellets take.
