Hi Gang,

I am trying to replace the combustion fan on my St Croix Prescott.

I got the old one out by using force. I hate to use force to install the new motor.

Can anyone give me some tips on how best to fit this thing back in?

Do I need to take off the back of the stove and do a fair amount of dis-assembly?

Thanks for any tips!!

Have you tried fan end first, in other words with the motor end tilted a bit towards the camera position ? The fan would then drop into the housing maybe. I don't own nor have I worked on this stove but that looks like it might work. Or can you detach that housing the fan fits down into ?

Thanks AH.............but the fit is still too tight.

At this point I have the stove dis-assembled.

Hopefully that will work!
