Question:

We are thinking of importing a line of stoves. How do you get certification? Where do you go? Who can I call?

Is there certification for wood cook stoves the same as for heat stoves? I can't find the regulations for cook stoves.

Answer:

Certain testing labs will do the job for you.

Cook Stoves are exempt from EPA standards for clean burning, so that will save you a bundle. However, you still have to do safety testing. The labs can do this.

try OMNI-TEST LABORATORIES, INC.
