A friend of mine bought some pellets in July of 06. He passed away that December and his widow did not use all of the pellets. They are in their original plastic wrapping and are stored in a dry place. So my question is are these pellets still OK to burn without any problems? And how long can you keep pellets and still get them to work and burn OK in your stove?

YEARS As long as there are kept dry
They are just 100% compressed wood.
They only thing that is bad for them is moisture.
so if they are off the ground and in a dry area thay will be good for a long time.
