How to fix firebrick in Woodchuck 2900

We bought a Woodchuck 2900 last year. We burn wood and coal. When we burn coal, the grates get jammed frequently. Well, the grates are jammed and I knocked out the three front firebrick from the grates being opened so far.

Please, any suggestions on how to fix. It is our main heat source.
