i've got a clydesdale insert and thinking about buying a chimney brush and rods to sweep the liner myself but before i do i want to make sure i understand what all is involved.
the stove installer made it sound like you need to take some parts out of the stove so the creosote doesn't clog it up when sweeping. i assume i could also disconnect the liner and slide the stove out but that sounds like way too much work.
anyone know what parts need to be removed from the stove prior to sweeping and how hard it is to do so?
