The national show is in Atlanta is soon:
(broken link removed)

the exposition is 2/28. 29 and march 1.

I will be going for fri afternoon and sat. If anyone here is going and wants to meet up for a "hello", I'm going to set up a little meetup for 4:15 on Friday at the Englander booth (indoors). If nothing else, hopefully Corie, Mike and I will be there!

If any of you are thinking of getting into the fireplace or stove biz, this may be a good chance to see the wares. Let me know by email or PM and I may be able to arrange "passage" into the show for a couple civilians (show is trade only).

About 10,000 people attend the show. It also has a large outdoor burn area where many of the units will be set up and burning.

Ok, so mark Fri at 4:15 on your calendar! I will have some Hearth.com "goodies" with me to give away, and you might just get lucky!

The guys that installed my setup will be there, A.I.M Chimney Sweep, from Midland, ON. Say Hi! They are great people, and friends.

Atlanta!!!!

You would think it would be a Minnesota weather type thing! Hard to sell something hot when you already have the heat.

Just kidding, I'm sure they have many good reasons to be there, just sounded strange. Have a great time!

Hey Guys,

Is this show only for tradespeople or can anyone come?

Atlanta Metro is home for me, would be great to meet y'all.

Thanks,

SG

It's a trade show so you have to have an invitation, but i'm sure someone here could probably get you in... My sales manager is going this year but it's kind of like an eh.. Atlanta.. that's going to be fun kinda trade show... Two years ago I went to the Salt lake city HPBA show, now that was a good show, and a great city.
