Every couple years I am lucky enough to buck up a downed cherry tree. And while it isn’t as good as the oaks and maples I usually get I’m a scrounged and take what I can get. I do set aside a few splits to chunk up for my smoker as cherry is my favorite smoke woo, but I still end up feeding most into the ol’ smoke dragon to warm the house. Still wish there was a better way to fully enjoy the smell of that cherry exiting out my chimney. The neighbors probably get to smell it more than I do.

Cherry is my fave, not my go to, but I love it :)

Just brought some in ...wish my sniffer worked better. Too many years inhaling construction dust.
It's early and my 2.5 cord crib is getting empty...
