I thought charitable contributions are tax deductible. The part that stood out to me was that the money was 1/3 of his lifetime earnings. It makes me sick that some bottom feeding banker or oil exec could donate that out of a small portion of their yearly bonus.

The IRS will dig back and see if he paid yearly income tax on tips that add up to two hundred grand.
