You do have a nice man den down there. Not overdone, just nice. Cool place for to spend time with the dogs too.

Thank you. I love it down here.

As you can probably tell from the exercise bike, I'm right into the fitness thing, but just in case there's any doubts about my athletic commitment, here's another pic that proves I'm a muscle-head through and through.... [emoji5][emoji849][emoji5][Hearth.com] I love cold crisp days like today...

is that your ash pan shovel next to the bar bells? Same thing i use for my Austral, 2-3 scoops and im done.

Clear and cold here too out west! Makes it guilt free hanging out inside all day by the stove :)

Doesn't look real cold, but is it always that windy? _g
And what's with the sideways breaker box, is that a Canuck thing? ;lol

LOL... the sideways breaker box... everything's crooked, twisted and/or warped... yeah, that's typical of this house; nothing done with any sense of logic (or code)... but we've fought & wrestled with it for almost 15 years to make it into a cozy little home for ourselves... [emoji16]

Good guess, but not quite. I re-purposed a spade with a broken handle. By the way, I love my Austral!!! [emoji5][Hearth.com] I love cold crisp days like today...

I guess it hasn't really been too cold out here in New Brunswick lately. Truth be told, I'm just used to saying how cold it is so that I have an excuse to slip away to the basement and get a fire going without any hassles from the wife....

There is nothing odd with a horizontal fastened electrical panel. There is no code for that. In my house I have two of these suckers hung that way! Canadian electricians are always drunk on Friday though.....!

you should use that square one, fits in the corners nicely, high sides keep the ash from falling off and 2 scoops you're done.
Yeah, I think you're right, the square shovel might very well turn out to be a better tool for the job. I'll give it a try and get back to you on that.
Thanks... :-)
