The home I purchased has a gas fireplace. It has a hook up on the exterior wall near the fireplace location. I would like to hook up a small propane tank. Maybe 50 - 100 lbs. I have attached a photo of the exterior hook up and was wondering if there was anything else I need besides the hose to hook up the tank? I believe it has a regulator on the top but do I need a secondary? Oh yeah theres a pipe cap on the bottom. Looks like 3/4?

Thanks [Hearth.com] I think it's ready?

You say your home has a Gas Fireplace already, is that not connected to a fuel source currently?

That’s just a test gauge. Plumber forgot to take it off.
