Can anyone help me identify this Vermont Casting that I found on Ebay? My lil brother is looking to install an insert in his home. They're newly wed and are just starting out so any supplemental heat they canget is going to go a long way. Especially since their house is heated by electric baseboards!

The FirePlace Insert

The first insert from VC, not a bad unit - but not a heavy hitter (heat wise)...it actually had a fairly decent coal conversion kit. Some specs in the old VC color lit at:

That is the insert installed in my fireplace in NJ - as I said, didn't heat too well compared to other stoves we used. The girl with the black hair is my eldest, now 33 years old, so that should give you a time line!
