Install issue

New VC dauntless owner and having issues with install. It seems like the stove adapter the dealer gave me doesn’t fit right? It barely sits and is very tight fitting under the flue cap. I have metal fab pipe. Anyone have similar issues or recommendations?

Is this MetalFab DW double-wall stove pipe? If so, it will need their DWBA stove adapter or the bottom section needs to be their telescoping pipe DWBTL. If it's single wall then their SWA1 is recommended.

It’s double wall.
So I can just connect the telescoping end to the stove?
There are small holes around the bottom of the telescoping end, does this matter?

Their telescoping DW pipe should have a crimped bottom end that fits directly into the stove's flue collar. What is the inside diameter of the Dauntless's flue collar?

Our telescoping pipe is about an inch too short so I’ll have to get the adapter!
