Installing old wood cook stove

The first thing to do is to go through the stove completely to clean out all passages and verify that all parts are in good working order. Is this a coal stove with shaker grates?
For installation, this is most likely an unlisted stove so verify with your insurance company that it is ok to install via NFPA 211 requirements. If there is no manual or tested clearance label then it will need 36" clearance all around. This can be reduced to 12" by using properly ventilated NFPA 211 wall shielding. If this is on a combustible floor then the hearth pad will need to have an R=1.19 insulation value.

That clean out door is the most common missing piece.
Need pics of the doors open, lifter openings on lids, and grate to give OP a good idea of what may be needed.
