"Reaction of ammonium dichromate and pellets of mercuric thiocyanate. Also called the "Serpents in the Grass" reaction. "

I had to look it up. I failed chemistry in high school.

I came close to failing, myself. My chem teacher - who was also my Mom's chem teacher - had a still he fabricated in the chemical
storage room between two chem labs. He & one of the algebra teachers would take their lunch hour in there. If you had either one
of them AFTER lunch, you didn't learn much. I had chem after lunch. Fortunately for me, my girlfriend all thru high school had an
Aunt who was also a chem teacher & she tutored me for three weeks prior to the final. I managed to pull a failing grade up to a C+...

Reminds me of those snake pellets we used to buy from comic book ads.

Had problems in Biology and Chemistry both. And it didn't have anything at all to do with the fact that the two teachers were sleeping with each other. I just wasn't interested in the classes. In Bio I was more interested in the girl sitting next to me. Many years later I saw her again. Glad that interest waned. ;lol

They were speaking what sounded like Russian- but maybe it's a scale model for their govt funded James Bond super weapon, if Romney's worries were right :)

If that's a scale model, they're going to need a really big Zippo if they want to make WMD's.
