Ironwood with some dead standing.

Grabbed a couple of downed Ironwood then dropped this dead standing(not sure what it is). I split the dead standing so I could bring it inside so it would dry out more, I'm thinking it will be ready by the end of next week.

Is that wood with the purple in it a box elder? I have some of those trees and they have the same type of color in them.

It's natural to think of box elder with the red but in this case I think it is elm.

The moose was last seen on the East Hill road about two or three miles from here. Just some small stuff today, I gave the ironwood to my neighbor. He's about 82, stacked three cord from the middle of September to the end of September.

Looks like next weekend will be a stacking weekend (Sunday) Saturday I have some stuff to do for my father.

That is very nice of you zap and it does not surprise me that you do it. Has your father came home yet?

Not yet, but I just sent you the info. He's has some Physical Therapy ahead of him but should be ok.
