Looks like this might be a modern knock-off. Do any of the castings say Made in Taiwan on the back?

Copy of a Cylinder Stove that was common during the Victorian era. They were called parlor stoves, but used to heat bedrooms, or any room where the family gathered. The top swung over to expose the lid that could be removed for cooking or kettle to be in direct contact with heat from fire below. Nickel ring around center is a boot warmer to rest and warm your feet. The sheet metal wrap was made to be replaced, unlike cast iron stoves that would need replacement cast parts.

Originals were very ornate, this being very plain looks like the cheap imitation “Double Star” from Taiwan. A pot belly is all cast iron swelled up in the center where the burn pot is.
