I sold my friend my Jamestown J1000 pellet stove this summer. I had the stove for 8-9 years and never had any real trouble with it. He has been burning it for a few weeks now and last night the stove ran for 5 hours and then stopped feeding pellets, and the green light went out. Does anyone know what would cause that? and what is the possible solution?
Thanks in advance!
Gary

No I dont but would also be interested in the answer as I have the same stove...let me check the manual/troubleshooting section

check the fuse on the inside on the control board....just a thought

Here is what he did to fix the problem.. 1st, he called the factory and talked with a tech. he told him to open the side door and on the control board, turn the bottom knob counterclockwise. That turned up the blower speed without increasing the auger speed. he has not had any problems.

can u tell me which control board he has in there..mine is a 1995 j1000

Sorry... i don't know.. But, if you look at the Jamestown website, you can call tech support and they will walk you thru it. They were very helpful to him!
