It's value will depend on the interior plates and baffle condition, time of year and location. In New England if there are no cracks and all parts are in great condition I've seen the enameled versions of this stove sell for $1400 and painted ones for $1000 during peak season. Average price for painted in good condition is $600-800. If parts need replacing then lower.

I have a nice 118 one in my garage too, thinking of installing it. Is there info on this forum about permit issues for installing older models?

Permitting requirements may vary with jurisdiction, but in the case of the Jotul 118 the manual is still available and should suffice as the guiding document if this is for installation in a home. Garage installations are often more regulated and sometimes not permitted.
