Hi all,

I’ve bought my home 5 years ago. It came with a Jotul 3 Classic Direct Vent installed in the den. It has worked perfectly through the years, but I am running into trouble with operating it this season.

I was able to successfully relight the pilot light. However, even with the flame height setting turned to high, the burner is emitting a very weak blue flame. The burner section closest to the glass door takes at least 5 or 10 minutes to catch a flame.

Are there any troubleshooting steps specific to this model I should take? I noticed posts about spider webs causing these issues in other Jotul models, but couldn’t find information around removing the burner for this model.

I truly appreciate the help in advance! Thank you

Tony
