Question:
wood stove Can you tell me anything about the Klondike wood stove? A friend of mine gave me a very solid, air tight Klondike stove, but it has no label on the back. It has glass doors and I would like to use it in my living room. Can it be ULC approved, as required by my insurance company by a local W.E.T.T inspector or someone else? Did Klondike go out of business recently?
Answer:
This stove may have been made by a company that makes the Alaska Stoker Stove. I think they still make coal stoves. It is possible that you can find info on your model.
