Late "pop" of flame when fireplace is turned off

I recently replaced the burner on my three sided LP gas fireplace. The install went fine and it starts and burns nicely; however, when I turn it off after several seconds there is a "pop" of flame in the back left corner near the air shutter (see video, wait for it, it takes a several seconds to appear). Is this anything to be concerned about? Ideas why it might be happening? I don't recall this happening with the burner I replaced. Thanks in advance.

We have an Avalon Cedar LP gas stove -7yrs. This whole time eveytime it goes off there is a very loud bang. We were told a while back that it was normal and there was nothing they could do. I have tried adjusting flame and air and nothing works. We kind of gave up for a while. I am just wondering if anyone else has had this experience...it gets quite irritating-esp to guests who are not used to it!

That does sound like a similar situation. I’ll keep looking into it but sounds like something to not be too concerned about. Thank you.
