I would think should be no issue to burn corn. Having used a Kernal burner(licensed copy) we had to install a timer to slow down the feed rate for corn to keep from things getting to hot but may not be an issue if your using more of the boilers capacity.

This burner has built in timers you can set on off rates as they differ for different fuels.

Probably got smarter and made it standard instead of optional. But is only about a $20 item.

Just had a look at the manual and this is a nice looking unit. Nice and simple.
Are they still made new? What is the price?
Is the power range 80-165,000 BTU like in the manual, that is a pretty good range.
How would this compare with a pb105?
Mine is a 100k btu they dont make them any more only the veriable rat one in my opinion the ldj is better less things to go wrong and much smaller easier to install. The boiler design goes back to the 1960s it has been fired with every fuel at one time or another new its about 4800.00.
