Finally, installing a stove in my "new" house.

I'll insulate the liner this time around. The question is, which insulation kit?

Found a couple here.. I don't need 25 feet, it's 21 from the cap to the stove.

Fireside Chimney Supply FireFlex Insulation Wrap 1/2in - 3in to 6in liners (25ft) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009KUWDWE/?tag=hearthamazon-20

Use what's left to insulate the block off plate?

Use the insulation kit approved for your liner

And yes you can use left overs to insulate the block off plate

The issue with that, is I don't know who manufactured the liner. My aunt has it installed in her house 4 years ago, never burned in it, and gave me the stove and liner. (Awesome deal!)

It's brand new and undamaged.
