Anyone use a Logan Shovel.
Built right here in Connecticut.
I talked to this guy on the phone and he seems very confident it can remove hot ashes with no issues.

Looks like a useful concept, I supposed it would work rather well but the price is pretty steep. My $5.99 shovel works fine with very little dusting
 
I end up cleaning my ash out every 1 or 2 weeks. I fill probably 3 or 4 gallons worth in a traditional ash bucket. I think this would work, but you'd have to clean out ash nearly every day, and then empty outside and get a plume of ash dumping either in the ditch or another ash bucket.
 
I assume the cost is just because he builds them by hand
