Looking to buy a stove, US Stove / Ashley?

I'm thinking about getting a wood stove for our 1,350 sq ft two story home. It would go in the living room in the addition that doesn't have a second floor above it (added on). I'm interested in getting an Ashley 1100B like this: (broken link removed to http://usstove.com/proddetail.php?prod=APS1100)

It is EPA certified at 75% efficiency and I can get it from Home Depot for $750.

Anyone run one similar to this? The price is good and the quality seems nice (checked one out in person).

$750, also from Home Depot. Still made in the USA, and appears to be higher quality. This model puts out 40,000btu (enough for my needs as an oil cutter).

I just bought the APS1100 for $350 at the Tractor Supply Store. I will be installing it during the week. What did you end up buying?

It is a smaller, shallow firebox stove. If you really like it, also check with a True Value store for pricing.

Both stoves had small fireboxes. They'll warm the place up, but I wouldn't expect 8 hour fires. But if this is for the same location that you were thinking of putting the Jotul 602, then it should do for that purpose.
