A friend just bought a home and over the weekend I helped him move a new Summit in and an Endeavor out to the shop where it will be re-employed. When I checked in the Lopi's fire box I was surprised to see the #2 & 3 burn tubes missing. The front one is still there and probably the original 1997 part.

We want to replace all tubes with a new stainless set. Has anyone done this recently? If yes, about what will it cost? Do the new tubes come complete with new slip rings and pins?

Just wanted to state up front that I have absolutely no idea how much those parts would cost, there wasn't that helpful. Now let me make sure I have this whole scenario right though.....You helped your friend move a Summit into his house and yet your friend isn't a member on this forum, what gives? I can't believe you don't have him hooked on this place spending all of his waking hours soaking up everyones inherent wisdom that we so freely dish out. Secondly I don't care if it's not your stove remember without pics it never happened.....LOL ;-P

I have an Avalon Insert and it too is a Travis company. Your friend will need a Travis dealer to get ANY parts. I have done there. They won’t give you ANY parts thru the internet.

Period.

Your friend will need to look them at www.travisindustries.com and they will give them a dealer's information close to ther's home so your frined can call.

Saying that, that is one great stove and I love ours.

BG, talk to Thomas (of Super Cedar fame)...I think he's hooked into the Travis folks one way or another. Rick

Yes, I've already told them that they will need to work with a local Travis dealer. We have several in the Seattle area. My question is about which parts come with the replacement tubes and the approximate cost? Thought that I read someone going through this last year, but couldn't find the thread.
