I'm really hoping someone can explain this one to me because it really has me baffled. I've noticed when my Liberty has more than 1 inch of ash heat output significantly decreases. When I empty the stove out I can heat my house to around 77 degrees, When it has more than an inch is struggles to get around 72-74 degrees. Here's the kicker, my stove top thermometer will read the same temps, but heat output is no where near the same, makes absolutely no sense to me!
