I have an Englander 25 pdv and i have noticed that on a 6 setting i start to get a rattling noise somewhere around the blower. If i hit the top of the stove, the noise dies down for about one second, and then its back. Has anyone else had this problem? and if so any solutions besides constantly breaking your hand?

yeah...hit the stove with a stick!

Sounds like you have a blower fan that's out of balance, and hitting it just changes the balance for a second. If it's a stove that's been used for a while, you might want to take the blower out and clean the fins.
