Just want to say I am loving my St.Croix Greenfield. Been running none stop except for 1/2 hour on Sunday for a good cleaning. Have use 0 propane and house is running 70 when its been in the single digits and 74 in the 20's. Running 50/50 pellets and corn. I had my heart set on a Harman but this came up at a really good price and I could not pass it up, I'm really happy with it
And wish there were more St Croix people out there. Really enjoy everybody's post never thought heating the house would turn into a hobby.
Thanks all

Nothing better than burning what's growing in the backyard.

I love mine, too. It's heating most of 2200 square feet to a quite comfy level. Easy to work on and maintain. The designers did an excellent job!

My heart loves StCtoix stoves, my dealer suggested Harman for ease of cleaning is all. He sells both. But people who own StCroix stoves love them just like you love yours !

Happy owner of a St Croix Hastings over here.

Burning a Hastings on the main floor and it does well and keeps it nice and warm, and I am actually sleeping in my bedroom this winter (too cold to sleep in there last winter), so I am happy.

Happy st croix owner here too. The only thing I would change would be a larger hopper or if they made a hopper extension some days after 12 hours we come real close to running out of pellets while at work

Heats our house great and we still have ever ad to run it full boar yet, even after last winter

Yeah 3 degrees here in Indiana running on 3 and house is 76. Happy wife!

Keep her clean and it will treat you right! Keep in mind that corn puts out a more corrosive exhaust than straight pellets, also don't be afraid to run on 100% corn, just start it with a cup of wood pellets.

Love my Harman in the basement - never given me a day of trouble, maintenance is easy and the hopper can hold enough to accomadate long work days plus 3+ hour commute.

Really like my SC although it can only go about 16 hours between hopper fillings. Really, really liked the price I could get a use SC for

I would love a hopper extension too. One day got home from work just as the last of the pellets were being fed into the auger.

St Croix makes wonderful stoves. Really enjoy the the Prescott in my shop and am looking forward to a Greenfield project for next Winter. Hopefully I'll get to a point where i can try burning corn.
