Has anyone had any success with ash vacuums from the big box stores, or are they cheap one time use vacs?

Do they really keep debris inside the unit during use? Are they equipped with bags? Are the filters/bags expensive?

Thanks.

No ash leaves the vac. Make for easy clean up of our corn burning stove.

I had to take this item back twice. After a week the motor just stopped working on both of them. I would not purchase another one.
Pros none
Cons Low quality

This is a must have if you have a pellet stove or fire place. Was using a small shop vac but was going broke buying replacement filters. No matter what I did or how often I cleaned them they didn't last long. Love the Nomex profiler. Gives that extra security in case of a stray spark.
Pros Durable
