First thing I see is it's not a wood stove it's a coal stove

I appreciate any input I’m just getting started in the wood game.. possible to use as a wood stove?

This is a coal furnace. It appears to be without its jacket. If so, beware of asbestos dust on it.
Info from the interwebs:
Luxaire began as the C.A. Olsen Manufacturing Company in 1939 which made coal and gas furnaces. More than 60% of U.S. army barracks during WWII were heated by Luxaire units.

Possible? Yes. Advisable? Absolutely not. It's going to burn extremely inefficiently

Another find was an old Signal Oak 15. I took the whole thing apart and resealed all the joints. I’m looking for the screw in damper, would that be something standard I could purchase from a stove store or would I have to find it on eBay? Again I’m just starting out so any info is good info.

Most of those are coal stoves as well. But I would need to see inside to know

This may not give you the best view, but there is no fire brick lining just thin walled steel

Many had a refractory basket in the bottom with a grate all the way at the bottom above the ash pan

It does have what I’d call a shaker, and it opens to dump coals
