Meh. Solar thermal.

PA has had an on-again, off-again solar thermal rebate for many years, might arguably have a better solar thermal resource, and still had very few systems due to poor payback. I was quote $8k for a system (after US and PA rebates totaling 50%) that would only provide 60% of my hot water.
