Hello, we recently bought a used magnum baby countryside stove bc-dc model. The woman we bought it from sort of gave us the run around as to whether or not it worked properly. We got it home and cleaned it thoroughly then attempted to see if it would run. The problem we found is that the room blower fan doesn't start with ac power. If we unhook it from the ac power and use a dc battery it works. I am wondering if this fan is supposed to be working on ac as well as the dc option. All works great when it is hooked to the battery. We are beyond frustrated with this thing and ready to take it back to the gal we bought it from. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same model stove. Mine was built in 05. I am no expert but I think both fans and the auger motor run on dc voltage. When you plug it in to 110 ac volts it goes thru an inverter and switched to dc current. Enclosed is the picture of my power supply. I notice there are fuses on my board. If I was to check mine to see if they were good I would use a voltage meter to test continuity instead of trying to remove the fuses. Always, always, unplug stove during testing. Link Removed
