Rummaging around the box stores for a cheap shoulder pellet as we slide into spring. Bought and burned some of the Main Choice pellets last night. Scored 60 bags at the local Lowe's for $3.75 with a coupon. I need to put a temp gauge to measure heat output but they seem weaker than the Green Team in my Castille. As they are just there to save 1.5 tons of Barefoots for next season, these will certainly do. And I don't mind if I burn them all up!

I've been very happy with the 3 1/2 ton I've gone through so far this winter. Did have some bags that were full of sawdust and one bolt with a washer.

my old man had a huge chunk of cement or cinder block in his M.C. pellets. those were pre explosion. think theyve cleaned it up. Good way to get your bags to weigh 40lbs easier i suppose
