Is anyone here doing this and do you have any tips? What's your stories? Is it safe to do while piping hot?
Thanks all........

I've made charcoal and I don't see how you could do it with a stove. If you could, you'd end up with a lot of creosote.
You might be able to make small amounts by filling a sealed gallon can with wood chunks with some small vent holes in the can.
Throw it on the fire and cook it until gases stop coming out of the vent holes.
