Matherly Wood Sove

I have a Matherly wood stove insert that I have not used in over 10 yrs. I am now ibterested in taking it out and putting in gas logs. My question to you is, what is the value of the stove to try to sell? And my door way to room is 29 in, and the stove width is 15 in, but that's the front of the stove. There are pipes in back connected for the blower. Any suggestion on how to get out? Professionals want to charge $500-1000.

Probably a value of $150 to $200. As far as removing it inserts like that usually just pull out of the fireplace. Put on a dolly and wheel it out

The chimney will then need to be cleaned well and inspected before installing gas logs
